Located in the Cyclades Islands<\/a>, Ios has some of the wildest nightlife out of all the Greek islands. It is the summer party hub where days are spent hungover on the beach and nights spent eating cheap food and drinking until the sun comes up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I spent two summers living here and it is a wild time and an awesome spot for young backpackers. It always seems like 95% of people come here to party (and the average age of visitors seems to be 22).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That said, don\u2019t let Ios\u2019 party reputation deter you from visiting \u2013 it\u2019s a beautiful island and only busy between June-August. Even though I\u2019m not a partier anymore, I still love the island. Go swimming, explore ruins, eat seafood, hike, and lay on the beach. There are a lot of things to do here and plenty of places to escape the young backpackers if that isn\u2019t your thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
