Greece is one of Europe’s most beautiful destinations, home to picturesque islands, delicious food, thousands of years of history, and wonderful people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s also one of the more affordable countries on the Euro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can travel around Greece for a fraction of what you’d spend in other Western Europe, which is just one of the many reasons why I absolutely love visiting Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve been to Greece many times and have spent months exploring this country. I cannot say enough good things about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visiting Greece is always the highlight of my summer European travels. There\u2019s just something magical about this country. There\u2019s an energy in the air and you can\u2019t help but think, \u201cMaybe I should never leave?\u201d It sucks you in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And, while the Greek islands<\/a> get the most attention, the interior of the country \u2014 with its small towns, historic ruins, and mountain hikes \u2014 is too often overlooked and underappreciated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, while you may have a strong desire to stick to the islands, try to get to some of the places in the interior if you can. You won’t regret it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
