It’s great to see an itinerary for my hometown that matches the advice I’d give people myself!

Just one thing: the National Gallery focuses on 20th century South African art only, and their selections are a bit morbid. If you really like 20th century protest art it’s worth a visit – otherwise give it a skip, and make a stop at the Zeitz Mocaa Museum of Contemporary Art Africa, which is breathtaking.

Cape Town has some amazing views from Table Mountain and other areas where you are overlooking the ocean and city.

Just looking at the mountainside and the ocean is breathtaking. Great place to meditate and just be in the moment! Probably one of the best places to visit if you are coming to Cape Town for the first time as a tourist.
