I visited Montmartre Cemetery during my last visit to Paris and it was such a cool place to explore. Very peaceful. I haven’t heard of any of the other places on this list. There is always another reason to go to Paris! 😉

I’ve spent almost half a year in Paris and I can only agree that this is one of the most beautiful places -even if a bit chaotic- in Europe. I’m in the process of planning my visit to Europe early next year, Paris being a definite stop. I’m grateful i came across this post because it shows a lot of pretty little places i had not considered to visit. Since I’m a huge fan of the history of anatomy, you can count on it that I’ll make a stop at that Gallery of paleontology and comparative anatomy. Cheers!

I don’t know if that is off the beaten path but I enjoyed the view from the cafe on le printemps shopping mall. It’s a free view point which can compit with the view from arch de triumph.
