A DSLR camera will usually predict the light colour by analyzing the actual scene colour of the scene and then countering it accordingly. The fact that it will not always be correct leaves you with incorrect colours and therefore necessitates manual correction. This is pretty easy and can be determined by using Quite a good number of presets such as tungsten, fluorescent, flash, cloudy, shade and daylight among others are available for use in order to counter the different light colours found in different scenes.

If your camera doesn’t have the necessary settings, try getting the VSCO Cam app (free) and using the in-app camera. Different apps have different capabilities, so try a few. Good luck!
